About

Thank you for visiting this blog today, I appreciate your visit! Let me tell you a little about me so that you can ‘get to know me’. I was born in London in the 1960’s and lived a pretty poor existence in a block of high-rise flats. We moved to Suffolk, to a London overspill town when I was about 6 years old as my dad had got work. And that’s where my life remains! The years have been both good and bad to me (as with everyone), but we try hard to get over the bad and keep hold of the good – which can be difficult.

Six months before my accident (see post 17th April 2012) my father died, following a series of strokes and ill-health. But things haven’t been all bleak, in 2008 we had our first grandchild – a boy named Kristian. The following year along came Chloe and then in 2011 we had our first Grandchild by our middle child named Lily-May. And Grandchildren are wonderful aren’t they? Whether it’s because I’m older now and seem to have a bit more time to enjoy them. Or maybe it’s because you can give them back at the end of the day?

In 1997 and beyond I was diagnosed with diabetes, hypothyroidism, hypertension, high cholesterol, NASH, and an enlarged spleen.
